New owner from Michigan

Well after a long layoff I am back into some old bad habits. After a 30 year layoff,(no reasons why). I am back into motorcycles and guns. Women? well got remarried so I have to stick with the one for now RIGHT ? My dad passed and had some guns (9) so I have 2-.380 and a tauras 22 for the wife. She wanted more so I let her have the .380. So that meant I had to buy a new one and after all the talk I went with the XD45acp compact for a main carry weapon. I tried the .40 sub compact and with the standard mag. the damn thing pinched me so bad my finger swelled up and blistered. Not the right size grip for my size hand.
I would like to know where the cheapest place is to buy ammo. I do not reload so that is not an opton
Thanks for all the good info on this forum
Dave

Welcome funone46! Your best bet will probably be at Wal-Mart. Blazer Brass is running $10.97 for 50rnds of 230gr fmj.

Welcome to the forum from UT. Have you tried the 45 Compact? It is a great gun and the grip is better than the sub-compact pistols.
