Yes I have the compact the sub compact is too small for my hand and did some nice damage to my finger. When I shot it the ext. mag. jumped enough to pinch badly. damn finger swelled up for days. And my local gun shop had the 45 compact on sale to 499

Thanks for all the warm welcome's. This looks like a site with a lot of helpful members. I am glad I have the same type of members that I have on my motorcycle forums. And I am sure I will be asking some dumb questions as they arise. ( their is no dumb quetsions RIGHT guys and gals ) My wife is loving my colt 380's but already wants to upgrade to the xd9 or 45 sub compact. It never ends.
