Hello and Thanks to All
Just wanted to say hello and thank everyone for all the XD tips and information posted by the members here at XD Talk. I’ve been lurking and soaking up info for a little over a month now and recently purchased an XD 45 Compact. I absolutely love the gun and I’m totally happy with the choice and its performance. Have shot target rifles and revolvers in the past but this is my first semi-automatic.
I joined the NRA, attended a Basic Pistol course, and have had the XD out to the range about four times so far. With a few hundred rounds through the barrel there have been zero FTF or FTE with the XD. Also love the versatility of the compact model offering two different setups with a simple magazine swap. No complaints whatsoever and I’m already thinking about the next XD. Kenny

Thanks for the welcome.
JT, took the course at Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers. They have another Basic Pistol course coming up in July and a couple of Personal Protection courses planned for this fall. I did join their club also which is right off of Nyes Road. |

Welcome to the forum from UT. If I had waited two months, I could have gotten the compact, but I am happy with my XD45 Service.
