New member on the board
Well guys, had some free time and just decided to join. I am a LEO in New York, and have a house in Orlando. I stay mostly up here and Fl for vacation. Anyways, went to requals the other day, and took out the springfield to shoot for the first time.
Well, went from requalifying with a revolver, and changed over to the xd9 for fun. Took me about 10 shots to zero it in, but once I did wow. The gun is like a tack driver, just hits it right in. Even did a eye shot in the California POST target (bad guy, hand clenched over his heart, other arm out with a gun). I showed one of my guys and my instructor the gun (who loves 1911's). Did 20 rounds each with it, and they fell in love with the gun too. Too bad its not approved up in NY. Might possibly be going for the XD45ACP next. |
