New guy from Texas
Well, as you can see form my handle, I am new to the XD club. I was a long time shooter of Austrian plastic. My best friend bought a 40 XD and swore it was the best thing since sliced bread. It was his first gun purchase, what did he know. My wife bought a 9 subcom XD. She swore it was the best gun she ever felt. She's just a girl...
Well, I took these XDs out the the range with my Glocks and was sold in 50 rounds! So where my Glocks! I have sold all my Austrians and purchased a XD 45 ACP in thier place. |

Welcome! I was one who NEVER thought I'd own a Glock. Then I shot one two years ago and thought I'd found the holy grail. I ended up with about, (gulp) fifteen of them! Then I bought an XD-45 on a whim. I'm down to four Glocks, NIB and unfired, just for collectibility, and one G17 just because I haven't gotten around to trying to sell it. And I'm up to FIVE XD'S!

Welcome aboard. I traded in a Glock on an XD a while back, and now I have three XD's. While they will never take the place of my 1911's, I really like the XD.

Welcome to the forum from UT. I never thought I would have a semiauto pistol until I shot a friend's XD. I was into revolvers. Now I have a XD45 Service.
