New guy from Philly

Hi everyone,

Found these boards a few months ago. I originally had a XD 45 tactical and sold that last year. About a month ago I purchased the XD 45 Compact and love it.

I dont have much experience with guns. This is the 2nd gun I have owned. I frequent the range at least once a week and plan on taking whatever classes I can find to help me increase my knowledge of owning and using my firearm.

As for my holster, I use the Desantis Thumb Break Scabbard but am not happy with it. I just ordered the K&D Dakota Defender as I found another thread here with lots of people praising this IWB holster. I am looking forward to getting it.

Thanks for having me!

Welcome from northern Delaware!

I love your "location" (City of Brotherly Hate). LMAO! That's exactly what I used to call Philthydelphia when I went to school there. What part of the great City do you hail from? I went to Temple U, worked one summer at Temple Hospital, and also lived in Fairmount (near the museum).

Nice to "meet" someone semi-local!
