New here...
Hi, all... just signed up. I want to thank all those who posted about the XD45. I just ordered one to start training for IPSC. Here in Canada we don't allow carry weapons, so this is all I get to use it for.
Shot really well with my buddy's XD40 and another club member's XD9 and since I'm a 1911 lover/owner, I already reload 45ACP... the choice between the three was obvious.  I know the 1911 is also good for IPSC too but I just didn't want to get my stainless 1911 all scratched from practice and competition use. It's my treat to myself after all these years. She gets used a lot but don't want to be too rough on her. All those good reports should mean the XD can take a beating and lots of rounds and still be accurate, fun & reliable. Anyways, should be getting the new girl by mail soon. Can't wait.
