Thanks for the warm welcome from all that posted!

To answer the questions... I ordered the 5" Tactical in black. They were out of the Bi-Tone and I kind of like what some of you did with the model paint in the engraved lettering on the slide.

We have to go through a licensed retailer or the gun club up here but we have lots of mail-order retailers. All my guns were bought over the phone and send by secure mail. We just can't go anyplace with our guns here, except to the range as stated on our transport papers.

Anyways, can't wait for the government to clear the paper work and get my new XD home and then to the range.

Guess I'll have to depend on the 1911 and AR-15 to keep me occupied until then....
