I turn 21 eight hours from now and I cannot wait to start my DROS for this handgun tomorrow. Ill post pics after my 10 day waiting period is over.

I THINK that people don't use their local gunsmith for these because they are relatively new and if you dork it up, internal parts are harder to come by. This is now changing, however and Springer even sells a drop-in trigger kit for people who are willing to disassemble their guns.
Thanks for your input. Since this is my first handgun that I will own, I am unsure if I want this as my carry or competition. But I am considering buying a drop in kit from Springer.

$45 dollars. Okay, okay... the yellow ticket cost me $65, but $20 is a nicer way to piss people off.

I will tell you what, if you don't like it, I will buy it for $65. I don't want you being out that much money for a junk pistol.

Welcome!

Hmm... I might have to go to more Friend's of the NRA dinners. For some reason I thought they were like those $1000 a plate dinner with the President prices.

I can throw on a suit like the best of them and enjoy a $45 a plate dinner.

Congratulations on winning. You are right the first time - it was $20 to win. You would have eaten even if you did not enter the raffle you lucky "son of a gun."

Friends of the NRA dinners are just like NWTF dinners, or DU banquets. Trying to raise funds for national and state nra activities.
