Two newbies from Frisco, Texas

Having no shooting experience and limited knowledge of handguns my wife and I did our research and after test firing 6 different weapons we decided on the XD 9. We now have taken a gun safety course and have successfully completed the written tests for our CHL's and will go to the range to qualify on Monday. Several practice sessions have been accomplished with each of us using both guns and we are familiar with working mechanisms....and because I don't want that silly picture of Gunny in this thread here ya go.....

Congrats. Your path sounds very similar to my own. I got my first gun about a month and a half or two months ago and went through a similar process. I also decided on a Springfield XD 9MM. I also ended up getting a Kahr PM9 last week to be my carry weapon. My CHL app is in Austin as we speak.

Welcome from McKinney. Go Collin County XD owners!!

Welcome. I lived in Frisco for a few years. You should check out The Bullet Trap in Plano as a range.

WELCOME TO A GREAT PLACE !!!

May be NEW, but they know what to do (*Included a Picture )!

So, which one is HIS and which one is HER'S?

I had the XD9SC and I loved that pistol! However, I just recently sold it to bring home my XD45C yesterday.

Oh, by the way, just ignore some of the nonsense that goes on around here and we'll all be just fine !!!
