Thumbs up New from houston

Hello,
I've been checking out this site for the past few weeks once I decided I wanted an XD over (other name brand here)

Got back from the gun show earlier today with a new xd9 sc with Trijicon night sights.
Got home,.checked it out etc,...then headed to the indoor range. woohoo

Shot a bag of 50 rounds that I also picked up. Wish I woulda got a few more bags. haha

So far I like it very much. I will be ordering at least one more 10 round mag and some of the pierce grip extensions.
Am also concidering a lasermax guide rod laser setup. <<any cons that I should be aware of with this laser? I like it because it is all internal.
It will be either that, or I wait for the crimson trace.

Thanks for all the good info on this site!!!!!!!

Welcome! Carry a very similar xd9sc setup on a daily basis.

This is the best price I have found on the extensions:

And since you're in Houston be sure to check out http://www.txdpsa.com/

Welcome!!!

WELCOME TO A GREAT PLACE !!!

I had the XD9SC Black on Black and I loved that pistol!

I recently sold it to bring home my XD45C yesterday.

Oh, by the way, just ignore some of the nonsense that goes on around here and we'll all be just fine !!!

My parents live in San Antonio and when I was out there a few weeks ago, we went to an Academy store and bought some 9mm for under $6 per box of 50.

Amazing!

Continue to enjoy!

Ahhh,..yea,.this stuff was 6.99$ per box of 50. monarch. I imagine it should be decent for target shooting. I have some 7.62x39 monarch that I shoot through my AKs and it runs fine there.

The ammo we bought for $5.86 per box was in a blue box (boxed by Monarch) too with Red writing with a guy on the front of the box looking over at a target, with the thin cardboard separators. Of course, the markets vary from city to city and state to state.

Gotta scoot!
