New member with an XD

Hey all,

I've lurked on and off on here for a few years now but have never signed up or posted. This weekend I picked up one of the guns on my want list, a bi-tone XD9 service. I've always loved the look of the bi-tone model and found a local guy selling his. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I definitely like the ergonomics. I owned an XD9 Tactical a few years ago, but I ended up selling it to someone who was desperate to find one.

Anyway, I have/had a few guns in my collection over the years. In addition to my newly acquired bi-tone I've owned some other nice short and long guns, some I still have and some have moved on:

HK Mark 23
HK USP Tactical
HK USP .40 full w/ Jarvis Custom o-ringed and threaded barrel
Glock 17 OD green frame, full trigger job, XS big dots
Glock 19C
Glock 19 XS big dots
Sig P226 .40 w/ Heinies
XD9 Tactical
HK USC .45
Various AR15 builds

Plans for my XD are pretty simple: some form of night sights (TFOs, probably), a threaded barrel, and a suppressor.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to enjoying the new addition to my collection!

As you can see, I am partial to the same model myself:

Enjoy!
