Texan without an XD
yeah i'm from Texas, and i don't have an XD.
don't care to have one, i have a 38super RIA 1911. can't be happier.
i own 6 rifles and 3 shotguns.
i'm a bolt-action kinda guy. all the way. my baby is a m44 mosin-nagant.
newest purchase is a ishapore 2a1 7.62NATO. having some trouble with it.
ishapore rifle malfuncton(maybe?)

i just graduated from a 2 year college.
i am a country boy. grown up on a produce farm and ranch. been shooting since i was something in the single digits of age.

getting my CHL looking at getting a Springfield micro compact 1911. or a RIA officer or commander. see where i'm going?
if you have any suggestions along the lines of what i'm looking at let me know.

Seriously though... the fact that you are here when you don't even own an XD, must say a lot for this forum. it's full of great people. Peope who own many different guns, and many don't own an XD either. Welcome to the forum, hope you stick around. I'm sure you'll like it here.

Welcome to the XD Forum. Variety is what makes life great! I myself am a levergun nut, have one XD and will be picking up a 1911 very soon!!!!

yeah so you can keep your plastic fantastic.

thanks it seems like a good place so far. sure are a lot of threads about the XD handgun. but what do you expect from a place called XDtalk. if my friend has an XD can i talk about his?

I'm a huge 1911 fan myself. Joined the XD club about a year ago, but my Stainless Kimber goes most everywhere with me.

Why do I carry a .45?
Because they don't make a .46
