Bought my first handgun: XD-9 Tactical

Hello everyone,

I just purchased my first handgun (XD-9 Tactical) based in large part on all the excellent information I read on this site. Thank you. I want to get into shooting as a hobby and research was the first step, purchase of the handgun was the second, and I have signed up for a basic firearms course as the third step.

My hope for the future is to get into some kind of leauge to hone my skills and to have fun.

I haven't actually shot the XD yet although I did shoot a couple of other modles and make before I decided on this pistol.

Thanks to all of you for helping me make my decision.
