New XD from GA
Hi all! I just purchased my XD 45acp compact last week and finally got out to the range yesterday. I put 150 rounds down range and I must say, I am impressed! What a pistol! Light recoil (for a 45), totally comfortable in the hand, all around nice firearm. I was a little apprehensive about how it would actually perform because I bought it without ever firing one beforehand. I just went by word of mouth and the Guns and Ammo review from 06.

Welcome to the forum from UT. I have the 45XD Service and wish at times I had waited two months so I could get the Compact verstion but hey, nothing wrong with several handguns!
