New XD9 Owner from DFW Texas
Hello from a proud new XD9 owner from the DFW area in Texas!
I have been considering a handgun and have been researching different models for years. I wanted to eventually have at least two guns, a range gun and a smaller carry gun, getting the range gun first to learn on, to shoot regularly, and to get my CHL on, and later on down the road getting a smaller gun to carry after I got my CHL. After much research, it came down to the Glock 19 or the Springfield Armory XD Service 9MM. Well, of course here in Texas there are gun shows often and yesterday I finally "bit the bullet" and got my hands on both. The XD9 felt so much better in my hand than the G19 I knew it just had to be mine! Sale prices are awesome at the shows too--so much lower than retail. I can't wait to take it out and get some rounds through it soon, and I am looking forward to getting to know you all here. |
