Hello from Utah center
New owner of a .40 XD - tired of the Glock trigger backlash. My first 50 rds were accompanied by smiles and happy-cuss (joyous appreciation). I will be spending some time with this baby. Only negs - the 12 round mags really only hold 11 for me - even with the little loader. The mag release is small and stiff - really difficult to get a smooth release.
I assumed the XD extras would be cheap plastic sales 'chum' - that I would have to buy a holster etc. - this stuff is really good, well thought out and work well. |

Welcome. More important than saving up for counseling is getting it in writing that you get to keep your XD when she takes all your stuff in the settlement

Welcome to the forum...your 12 rd. mag SHOULD hold twelve...it is stiff as heck at first, but I know mine eased up over time
mag release will work itself out too...you will be very happy with this pistol...

The Top Ten ReasonsMen Prefer Guns Over Women
#10. You can trade an old 44 for a new 22. #9. You can keep one gun at home and have another for when you're on the road. #8. If you admire a friend's gun and tell him so, he will probably let you try it out a few times. #7. Your primary gun doesn't mind if you keep another gun for a backup. #6. Your gun will stay with you even if you run out of ammo. #5. A gun doesn't take up a lot of closet space. #4. Guns function normally every day of the month. #3. A gun doesn't ask , "Do these new grips make me look fat?" #2. A gun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it. And the number one reason a gun is favored over a woman.... #1. YOU CAN BUY A SILENCER FOR A GUN |
