New Guy from Upstate NY
Hiya Guys & Gals!
Just joined this forum in the hopes of learning all I can about this line of weapons. Though I'm nowhere new to handgunning, having bought my first in the early 90's, I am the proud new owner of a springer XD40SC, just picked it up today. I actually decided on this weapon from a little bit of reading that I did here.A buddy of mine, and myself were out shopping over the weekend, and stopped into a local gun shop looking for a compact 9mm, but once I played with this, along with a baby glock, I decided on the XD. Should be notable to say that my buddy has owned a glock for a number of years, and after handling this little beauty, had no problem suggesting I buy the XD. Haven't had a chance to make any noise with it yet,as it's raining like hell here, and had too much to do, but looking forward to some fun this weekend. I also shoot a S&W 29,that I've taken several whitetails and a black bear with, an S&W 19 in .357 mag, that was my former carry gun, and a couple of 22's.Glad I stopped by this board though, you folks helped narrow it down for me... Thanks! |
