New XD .40 Service Model Owner..
Picked it up yesterday after much research. Plan to take it to the range here in about 1 hour. Not that you guys do not already know about range reports on it, nor do I know what to report, but I will let you know what I think anyway. Great site too. This will most likely end up being what my wife carries in her vehicle. But I will shoot the heck out of it when not in use..

I would work on her shooting skills, I know many women who didnt like shooting the .40 at first, but soon adapt to it and actually enjoy it. Give it a little more time, and just tell her that you would not want anything less than a .40 protecting her.
and if that doesnt work, I think it is a great excuse to add to your collection.
