Love my XD40
Just bought it a couple of months ago and really love shooting it. My spousal unit likes it too, she can actually grip it unlike the Taurus PT99 it replaces. It should also be much easier to conceal than the large PT99 when it comes time to do that. I registered here because I have questions that need answering, looking forward to picking your brains in the future.

Welcome! My wife liked our XD9 Service so much that she ended up with an XD9 Sub Compact of her own. Just warning you of what might be ahead since you said yours likes the XD40 so much.

Unless you plan on buying a 9mm anytime soon, don't tell her that the 9mm has less recoil.

Welcome!
My very first gun was a PT-99. I wish I still had it.
