Hello everyone.

Finnaly got myself a 45 ACP 4" Service Model. Its only my second handgun after my Glock 21. Basically spent the entire weekend at the range and I love my XD!

I also wanna purchase a 9mm but cant decide between XD-9 or the Steyr M9, what would you guys suggest if the price difference was not a factor.

Get the XD, you already have one, so you might as well fill out your fledging collection.

Welcome aboard from another Illinoisan (though I'm trying to get out).

I'll second getting a 9mm XD. I'm wanting to add a 9 to my list. Only other one I'd consider would be a Sig of some sort.

I second the recommendation to pick up the XD9. By the way, where are you in Illinois? I was born in Champaign, but moved away years ago.

Slugger, I am from Wheeling which is pretty close to Chicago. Thanks for replies guys and it looks like I will be picking up another XD soon.
