New from Washington

Washington STATE that is...

I've had a Ruger P89 for about 5-6 months now. Consider myself a decent shot. I've been shooting this or that all my life (im 24) and I always picked up quickly. I went shooting a few weeks ago with the ruger, and was aiming at a target roughly the size of a computer. Ok, we were shooting an old computer. Anyways, from 30-40 yards or so I hit it nearly everytime, a couple hundred rounds. Wasn't much left afterwards.

I went down to one of the local ranges with a buddy this last saturday, shot my 9 very well, he shot his glock 23 just the same. We swapped, and I shot his glock better than he shot my 9. Which surprised me. On the way out he pointed at the XD40 and said thats the gun hes wanted for some time now. And I remember my moms bf saying its a badass little gun, and all the research online comparing this to that, and people asking what they should get; everyone said get an xd you wont regret it. So back to the range. I asked to hold it, it fit me fine, so i dropped my card on the table and said load it up. My buddys jaw dropped, then he mumbled something about jealousy or something... lol anywhooo....

So I'm new here, just paid someone on here for thier NIB X2l. I can't wait to get it.

Oh ya, I deflowered her last night. First shot, bullseye at 25feet. Most of my shots were inside the 4 in center circle. at 25 feet I would hope so. I ran out of ammo for the 40 quickly, turned to the 9 and destroyed the rest of the center. I'm shooting thumbs straight, a method I found while reading everything I can around here. It sure returned me to my sight picture a lot quicker. After expending my .40 ammo (lawman 180gr) the 9 felt pitiful.
