Ditching the Glock and movin' over to XD

I wanted to say hi. I've been a Glock fan for a while...until I shot my first XD a couple months ago. It was an eye opening experience to say the least. An epiphany of epic proportions if you will. Now the G33 is for sale and an XD40SC will soon replace it.

Welcome! I recently made the same move. Bought an XD9 Service for my wife to shoot back in January '06 then got her an XD9 Sub Compact earlier this month. I quickly fell for the XD pistols and replaced my own Glock 23 with a new XD45 Compact.

Thanks. Now I've just got a lot of reading to do before I obtain my newest handgun.

Welcome. I have done some shooting in the Springs. If the weather ever warms up I will be doing some more.

I moved here four months ago from Montana. Silly me. I thought the weather in Southern Colorado wouldn't be as bad as North Central Montana. I'm not too shocked though. I lived in Cheyenne for 12 years before Montana.

Last Saturday I shot out at Dragonman's East of C Springs for the first time. That place is awesome for an outdoor range. The only issue that day was the cold temps. After two hours, I was done.

Once I get my XD I'll be ready for some serious shootin'.
