Does it require special priviledges to be able to post attachments ? My posting rules say I ca't post attachments, but I see attachments on other's posts .

Are you talking about pictures? You can link them via html from photobucket or photoshare.

You'll see a little box that says "Attached Thumbnail"

As far as I can tell only mods can post messages with attachments.

Anyone can post images.

they have to be in the right format.
(url)http://www.yahoo.com/image.jpg(/url) replacing () with [] and they must be located on a server that allows direct linking. I use photobucket but some use hunt101.com others imageshack.us (I use this for stuff that's not important--your image can be deleted for too much bandwidth use).
