New guy in Houston
Well, I'm new to XD's anyway. I picked up a XD9 Tactical for IDPA shooting, seemed to be at a disadvantage shooting .40's against the 9mm crowd in ESP.
So far I like it, I've had two range days and one IDPA shooting night since I got it on the 30th Dec., and it runs like a top. It will take some getting used to the long trigger pull compared to my BHP's but I'll work on it. |

Welcome to the site! Let us know how IDPA competition goes for you. I've been shooting the XD45 Service in ESP, but plan to pick up an XD9 Tactical and see what I can do.

Thanks guys, I've only shot the XD9 Tactical in one club night, and I'm guessing I'm cutting 10-15% off my times going to 9mm from .40. I'm going to order some TFO sights so it will be interesting to see how they work.
