Greetings all, my name is Steven T. and my username CybrGuy is used because I've been a LAN/computer gamer since the Pre-Doom days. After 12 years, a username\nickname tends to stick.

I have been shooting my whole life, however I recently got my CPL in Washington State and thus wanted a reliable pistol to carry with me when needed. Lo and behold the XD .45acp compact was out and about in my home city as of... the day I realized it was the pistol for me. I called my preferred local gun shop and asked about the XD 45 Compact the reply was, "You must mean this thing I'm holding in my hand. We just got them today." And subsequently an hour later I had my first XD.

Now, I must find some time to go shoot it...

Welcome cybrguy. This is the beginning of your addiction to XD's. I first bought the 9 Service then along came the .45 tac. I've seen and held the compact .45 and...it...looks...like...my...next.........purcha se.
What part of eastern WA are you from?
