New XD owner here.. well kinda
as an xmas present i was looking at guns, didn't have much to spend (bout $350) only thing new i could get was a S&W sigma (.40 or 9mm).
didn't care for it, it felt cheap, and had like a 9lb trigger pull that seemed to go a mile before it clicked. my neighbor has an XD SC 9, and i really like his. so i put the XD 9 4inch service in layaway, the price before tax was $469, with case, 2 hi cap mags, holster, clip holster, and something else I'm not quite sure what it was lol. ill have mine out around the 29th, in time to bang in the new year, and likely go for my CHL sometime in February. i'm taking these 2 weeks till i have my gun in hand, to read the manual (downloaded pdf from SA's website). and dig into these forums a bit. i'm going with a fobus holster (again neighbor has it, and i love it, works great for me) its been a long long time since i've shot a handgun, used to be fair at it, cant wait to get at it again. cheers all |

Welcome. I've got the 9mm service as well. You have made a good choice and will get a lot of enjoyment out of your gun.
BTW, nice avitar. Darned good television show!
