Hey Everyone. Just picked up my XD9 service kit as I left Peoria this afternoon. Going to help Mom put up her Christmas tree on my days off. Hopefully the snow will be melted at the range when I get back to town. The factory day at Midwest gun range payed off for them. I went to look at Armalites and just for grins got in line to shoot a few rounds from an XD45. Wow! I mainly shoot 1911 style 45's. But that thing was nice. I ended up getting the 9mm because of ammo prices, and because I've ever owned a 9mm. And yeah, I ended up with an Armalite mid length carbine also. Factory day was a good idea for Springfield and Armalite. I got some Rem/UMC fmj at Dicks Sporting Goods for $6.98/50rnds. Is that good/bad for 9mm? I imagine Dillon will sell me the stuff to convert and load 9mm. Take care.
