Checking in from Ventura County, CA
Hi all,
This is my first post to the XDTalk forum. I've been shooting for more then 20 years now. Started out with Sigs and Rugers and have been through just about everything in between, but I'm back to Sigs and Rugers again. That having been said, I took an XD .40 Service out for a test drive and I really liked it. I'm trying to decide between an XD .45 Tactical and a XD .40 Tactical. So here I am. I look forward to learning from your experiences and knowledge |

40 or 45
For me the choice was simple .45ACP
If everything else is equal I would go with the .45. As your in CA. one presumes this will not be a CC gun. As I understand it .45 ammo is easier to be had with a larger selection. it also makes bigger holes. Go shoot them again side by side.
