Hello. My name is jamstutz and I'm a Glockaholic.

I've used and appreciated Glocks since I first saw a Glock 17 over in Germany in 1985 while serving in the US Army Military Police. Since then I've owned dozens of Glocks and still have a wide assortment.

Our Sheriffs department carries Sigarms SP2340's and, while not my choice, they have served the department well. Now that the sig pro line has been discontinued and we are no longer able to get factory support, it has been decided to adopt a new issue handgun.

I'm also the department armorer for the Sheriff's Department. The current sheriff knows I prefer Glocks, but he suggested that I evaluate other handguns as well. The caliber of choice seems to be .45 ACP and some of the deputies have tiny little hands so I borrowed a SA XD 45 from another agency and took it to the range to evaluate.

Two days later I ordered an XD 45 Tactical for myself.

Yesterday I ordered an XD 45 Compact. Looks like I'm hooked.

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your service.

My brother will be starting MP school in Missouri after the holidays, but he has to finish advanced OCS first. Any words of wisdom I could pass along?

Save the Americans--end abortion now.

The 12 step program for this is to put the glock down, take twelve steps away from it, turn around, and never look at it again.
