new member and xd owner

i just registered on this sight this morning.lots of good info here.i bought my first gun two months ago (xd40 service) its been great no complaints.i just need some tips from experienced shooters as in-target shooting my shots are low to the left.i get lucky sometimes to hit center,it seems my gun likes 180 gr tmj than 230 fmj.can i get some help here?

I suspect there are two things, your holding on too hard ( milking the grip) and you need to work on your trigger pull. the HD has a long trigger. I sent mine to Steve Springer for a trigger job,I get it back tomorrow

Oh three more things. Practice, practice, PRACTICE!
