Newbie for MI

I have been searching these forums for about a month now trying to decide what my next pistol should be. Yesterday I went and picked up the XD .45ACP service model. I won’t be able to shoot it until Tuesday due to work. I will post range pictures then. I look forward to learning a lot from you guys, thanks for all the help!

What part of Michigan are you in? If you're anywhere near Lansing and want to go shooting with a fellow XD owner PM me.

Family Shooter's Corral near Eaton Rapids.

What's the set up at Capital City Rifle club? Is that the one in Williamston?

yeah its in williamston it has two 25 yard ranges which hold about 6 on each side it used to be one, but the poured a cement wall so they can have people shoot closer while the olther side shoots the 25 or for classes. They have a 50 yarder a pretty good sized 100 yarder. Then a 175 and 200 yard military pits. they also have a IDPA range and trap house. There was talk about building a inside pistol range then they were talking about building the building first then later due the range. Mostly nice people i never ran into the prick range guy that thinks he runs the range everyone governs themself and just makes sure everyone is safe. I would still be a member if i wasnt up in the sault for school and my dad stopped being a member since the craft center closed and now works by auburn hills.
