New XD owner from Houston
Hello, just got my XD yesterday--first firearm I own.
XD-40 service. Have not fired it yet, still looking for ammo; possibly getting it from Wal-Mart. Winchester of some sort, maybe?  -Chris |

Well, welcome... glad to have ya. Was stationed in Houston and Galveston for a few years, lived in League City. Not a bad place... still have some family there. Son was even born in ol' Houston.

Aloha... I am in College Station - I go to Houston every once in a while (used to be 1x a month, but not now, with gas prices).
Yes, wither buy the WInchester White Box (WWB) at wal-mart, or go to Academy and buy CCI Blazer. The blazer is aluminum cased, but that just means U can't reload them. It's pretty much all I shoot. I like them a bit better than the WWB. |
