Arrow Okie with a Gun

I am new to the forum but here goes I have a XD-9 Tac that I shoot USPSA with, new to it to. But what I have noticed was that I see a lot of the XD's that have the Springfeild and the XD on the slide that has been highlighted, painted in or something a long that line.If you could give me some info or put me on to someone that has done this I would appreciate.

No it wont melt, do a search for crayola or crayons, on here nad you will find that there are alot of us(me included)who have used them, and there are descriptions on how to do it, but i have gone to the range and fired off about 500 rounds in a day, and it averages 100-110 here in the summer and it hasnt worn off at all.

Highlighting

Any modeling enamel will work ...wipe excess off w/thinner or acetone...I do mine in gold leaf as it fills the deepest grooves easily.
