New Forum Member from North East OH
Hello. Just saying hi for now. I've been taking a look at this forum for a little while now when at work and at home and then decided to join.
I'm a security guard and a third shifter. Also I have used multiple firearms of varying calibers when on the range(feel free to ask, don't feel like boring anyone by starting a list). Sadly I can't go out and buy my own do to being under 21 for now. But I've already dcieded on first purchases, and my list gets longer all the time. But I prioritize. XD .45 Tactical first(the first .45 and 2nd handgun I'd fired, third firearm overall) then everything else next. Definately have a 1911 in my future.(might have already bored a few people already too $#%*ing bad-yes I censured myself I do it often, never good to tick off mods and owners) |

Well, let me be the first to welcome you aboard... I'm still a newbie to this forum myself, and love it. Read everything you can before you buy your firearms. I went and bought the very first (cool semi-auto) that I got my hands on the same day I turned 21 !!! Some people cant wait to go out and drink, or play the lotto or something... me, it was getting my A$$ out there and buying my first handgun... even if it was a P.O.S.!!! HA HA HA
Well, you live and you learn. Morale of the story, save and save and save some more if you have to... but get a good one. Keep your head on straight bro !!!

Thanks coastemac.
Thats my primary hobby: reading. And when at work it tends to be about firearms. I just have a thing for XD's and 1911's especially 1911's. actually I read a post by bigun Titled: Book 19, Chapter 11, Verse 45 and all I could think was thats good reading. I probably would have fallen out of my chair if I had read that at work. This forum is already being a big help to me just looking through previously posted threads and gleaning info from the wisdom of others here. The search function is great in this regard and I've used it several times to figure out a few things eye had questions about before I even joined the site. and again thanks for the welcome. |

Hey thanks for the welcome here I can see that Ohio has quite a few current and former residents in here. Nice to meet you all.
I have a question about my signature it is exactly 255 characters when not counting spaces but counting the spaces it is 305.(I checked with Microsoft Word) Is this okay or do I need to get a shorter signature?
