New To This Forum And New To Pistols
Hey All. I Havent Made My Purchase Yet But I Have Gained Some Valuable Information Though This Site That Will Help Me When I Do. I Just Have To Wait For The Lovely State Of NJ To Process My Permits. I Have Been Waiting For 3 Weeks Now And They Said It Would Most Likely Take Another 3-5 Weeks (Even Though State Law Mandates That They Process Within 30 Days).
I Am A Firefighter In the Air Force And Im Currently Stationed At McGuire Air Force Base In NJ. I Have Had Limited Experience With Rifles (M-16, M-4, .22) But No Experience With Pistols. I Have My Eyes Set On A XD45 But I May Get An XD9 As Well (Cheaper To Fire). If Anyone Is From Around Here I Would Appreciate Any Info On Places To Shoot And Any Pistol Courses that May Be Offered In The Area. |

I Wish I Was In A More Firearm Friendly State Like Texas. LOL....New Jersey Has Got To Be One Of The Worst Out There.

CA i think is horrible. if i go back to live there i can't legally own anything that i bought here in OK. i have a friend in base ops over there. friends calls mcguire a dump and everything close to that word. is that a good desription?

Free AMMO
Remember when you are in the military you are issued Qualifying ammo !!!!!!! Check wit whoever is in charge of your range....Joining a Military target club will also get you free Ammo....I fired many 45 freebies when I was at Ft.Sam
