I'll be a future owner here pretty soon. I'm waiting to find a class + schedule a time to get my TN carry permit. Do you have yours? If so, where'd you take the class?

I have my carry permit and took the class in Tullahoma, which might be a bit far for you. There are plenty of places around Nashville to take the class. Go to the Franklin Gun shop and ask them. They are good people there and will be willing to help you find a class. They are in the old Uncle Bud's catfish restaurant off Hwy 96 and I-65.

Thanks for the info. I ran by the Franklin Gun Shop today and got some info on XD-9 pricing and classes available around the area. I didn't realize how big of a selection they have on guns.. saw a beautiful Benelli M4 while I was there. It's my next "home defense shotgun".

Yea, it's a nice shop. We bought my wife's Kel-Tec P3AT and a TLR-1 for my XD there.
