new but not
Not new to guns, but new to XD. Had to choose between a Glock 30 SF and a Springfield XD Compact. Glock was too big for my hand but just like Goldie Locks, the XM was just right. Took it to the range where I bought the gun and proceeded to put 50 rounds of 230 gr ball ammo through it. Not a hiccup. Seemed well sighted in out of the box. Speaking of which, those little surprises (mini holster and clips) were a nice surprise. Tried the mini Holster but I think I’m going to go with a Fobus that I used for a Taurus PT 745; Yes the XD fits the same holster as the Taurus. Saved about $50 bucks there.
