I carry a xd-9 subcompact and love it. I've had it about 3 months and have shot over 1000 rounds through it. For target (range) practice I use the CCi blazer shells. are these ok?

Welcome to the forum. Be careful some people take offense to incorrect use of firearms language.
Shells go in a shotgun and cartridges are what goes in you XD. CCI blazer is just fine, but be sure to use the search function a lot.
