Sr9 vs M&P and Sr1911CMD
Hey, I need help in choosing my next 3 pistols. I really want a Sr9 but I cant choose between it and the M&P.
What I'm thinking: SR9-Lc9-Sr1911CMD, Or M&P, Shield, Sr1911Cmd
Please help me I'm drawn to the Sr9 because of the 1911 angle and controls, also its is $100 cheaper. Ruger is also one of my favorite companies
Also do you know of any SHOT SHOW release? I know of the Sr45, SR111CMD, Lc380, G30s, Sig MPX, XDs 9mm,

I would take an M&P over an SR9 any day. I wouldn't even put the SR9 in the same class as the M&P...

I think the sr9 gets an undeserved bad rap because it is so cheaper. But i'm open to suggestions

Not really. I see them sell for only about $50 less than M&P's around here. It's just not a proven design like the M&P. I have shot an SR9 and it's not a bad gun by any means, but it's no M&P.

I am also a huge Ruger fan. I know for a fact the original P series pistols they made were some of the most reliable handguns ever made. That being said I don't have any experience with SR9/40. I have played around with LC9 and I do not think it is a bad gun but I do not think it compares to the Shield. I think S&W has a real winner with the Shield. I prefer my XDs over the Shield but that's because it works better FOR ME. I don't think you would be disappointed with the SR9 but I am pretty confident you would be happier with the M&P.
