Patiently Waiting
On Dec 29 I ordered an XD 45 ACP, it was delivered to my FFL on January 4. Went in and filled out the paperwork for my background check on January 5, now I am patiently waiting for it be completed so I can bring it home and begin getting acquainted with it.

New to the forum, and 1st time gun owner. I grew up shooting on my dads police issued Glock 9. Went to the range a lot and always rented. I am 35 years old and been wanting to purchase for a number of years but never did. Most of my in-laws are all hunters and gun owners, and they finally convinced me that it was time to do it, ahead of any possible changes to gun laws.

So here I am, new to the forum, new to the world of gun ownership, and patiently waiting to take possession.
