New XDS owner... Long time XD owner
Greetings gents,

What a great source of expertise and all around information this forum is. I just picked up an XDS from my local Ace Hardware yesterday. I traded in my .45 XD that I picked up following my first deployment to Iraq back in 2006. I found my XD to be a little big and heavy for my EDC. This is my first ultra compact and after 150rds I have to say I am a big fan of this gun. I just thought I would take a moment and introduce myself. See you on the boards!

Hi, welcome, thank you for your service, and wow, you can buy a pistol at Ace Hardware up there. Man thats great. I can see it now, Be right back honey, need to go to Ace to pick up some air filters, a lawn mower blade and a XDM 45. LOL
