New to the world of hand guns.
Hello all, my names Eric, and I live in beautiful Portland Oregon. I was raised around guns, and shooting them. I currently own a few shotguns. 1 is a miroku 12ga over under that is a phenomenal guns. As well as a 1952 savage 300 lever action that doesn't see much use. And a few others.
I recently purchased my first hand gun. I got a full size xd .45. Still learning the gun. And really enjoying it. I plan to use it as my ccw.
Any thing specific I should know, or look out for on my xd? And thing that should e done to it?

Welcome from Florida! Don't know much about the full sized XD45. For carry I have a XD-s which is WAY small! I used to carry a full size SIG P229R and a Norinco 1911 but full size guns are hard to conceal. I'm sure this won't be your last handgun...
