Not sure why it's taken me this long to register on the forum. Probably due to a busy schedule and forum ADD. I'm already on a few forums that I've forgotten my login information for, then there are a couple that I still visit every day. This one may be one of the latter.

I live near Houston Texas and my wife and I own two XDs. She's got an XD tactical .45 with a Burris Fastfire II sight and I have a 9mm XDm. Like most of the forum's members, we also own a host of other firearms that range from vintage Browning shotguns to multiple variations of ARs in 5.56, 6.8spc and .308.

I have two daughters that both enjoy shooting as well. My oldest turns 16 soon, and I'm spending most of my vacation day working on a rifle build for her birthday present. Our youngest turned 10 in March and likes shooting .22lr on the 100 yard lanes.

I belong to the Texas XD Practical Shooters Association (TXDPSA), and am an RO and assistant Match Director for our monthly tactical pistol matches at the Impact Zone range in Brookshire Texas. If you're in the Houston area and haven't been out for a match, look us up.
