Just wanted to say hello to all the members. I recently bought the XDM 40 3.8 Compact and I am very happy so far. I have a couple of SA 1911's, just a little heavy for everyday carry. Very impressed with the XDM so far...

Hello and welcome to the forum from Florida. The XDm .40 compact is a great shooter. I really enjoy shooting mine. Depending on the size of your hands, you may find the Pearce grip extensions help a lot with controlling the gun for accuracy when using the 11 round flush fit magazines. The best price I found was at MidwayUSA - $7.99.
