Just got my first handgun, an XD9. The wife and I had a blast putting 200 round through it. Now she want a gun of her own. Probably a 22.
Looks like a great site here. I think I'll enjoy hanging out here.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your first gun. Now for the right gun for your wife have her look at a .38mm revolver Smith & Wesson for personal protection. My mother has one and she loves it she calls it the Lady Smith. Now for the perfect bullet here's what I would do if I was her I would rent a .38 Smith & Wesson at your local gun store/range and pick out each kind of bullet to find the right bullet/amo that works well with the revolver.
