Greetings From South Africa
Hi All.
Im new to the XD forum and i look forward to all your assistance.
We have very strict handgun laws in South Africa. We need to apply for a Competency Card, then only once you have that, is it possible to apply for a handgun licence. this process takes around 18 months if not longer.
im very close to receiving my XD(M) .40 and am going to be ordering all my extra bells and whistles for the good ole U.S of A.

@ slugger......where did u travel in SA? and how did u find it there? im from Johannesburg.....and crime is hectic there!

Most of my trips were to J-burg, but also Cape Town, Pretoria, Durban, Bloemfontein, and Port Elizabeth. I made some good friends there, but you're right. Crime is an issue.

@ slugger......that is gr8....glad u got to see most of the country.....it still stays beautiful...especially cape town.
@ sonofodin.......South Africa has alot of history.....and alot of it has to do with the apartheid area......but we r all still learning from eachother.
