New purchase, new forum!
So I just bought my first Springfield... The XDm 3.8 in .40 with the stainless slide. So I figured with the new gun, I should go to the place that seems to have a lot of knowledge about that gun and see what I can learn.

I will do some searching, and I know there are probably lots of threads about this topic, but is there a concensus as to any ammo that the XDms don't like, or the best to use in them? I kind of get the feeling that they eat anything, but I am here to learn, so input would be great.

Looking forward to learning a lot about my new favorite tool.

Welcome from Pensacola. I have a XDm .40 3,8 also and it seems to like Hornady Taps. I haven't shot the weapon yet but my wife has and a cop buddy of mine. Figure I need to knowwhat kind of ammo is it;s gonna like for self-defense before I start carrying it around and have problems. But XDs and XDms rarely have problems
