new guy here
Just wanted to take a quick second to say hi to my new friends here. I just bought a new to me .40 s&w full size xd which I should be in possession of in a few weeks. I'm from western pa but spend some time in central va visiting family. This will be my first firearm of any kind and I'm pretty excited about it. I hope to be reading much, mainly about carry ammo and holsters right now, and posting where I can be of use. The gun will be used a self defense gun/carry and light ipsc practice weapon.

thanks for the warm welcome guys, i've been doing some digging around and i really like the idea of coloring in parts of the engravings on the slide. looking forward to learning more about these guns
