.45 ACP Load

Tried a new bullet in my XD .45 here it is;
200 gr. Ranier Bal. flat point
5.0 grains of Bullseye
Rem. 2 1/5 primer
1.245'' OAL
Fiocchi brass
Havent chrono'd yet, but its about the equivelant of the same combination using ww231 (5.0gr also). Accuracy is noticeably better
than the 231 load, believe it or not. Hard to beat Win 231 but its possible.
Hope this is helpful to any reloaders out there.

Also, use this load for defense;
185 Gold Dot
5.0 Gr. Redot
same case/primer
Not all that hot, just extremely accurate.

Welcome!

I use 230gr. LRN cast bullets over 4.2gr. of Red Dot powder on Winchester primers with mixed brass. Not sure of the chrono speed but it's super accurate.
